I can log in on my phone but not the laptop. It prompts me to enter my name and password and I do but once I get back to the forum it tells me to sign in again.

Did you eat all your cookies?
Someone was playing with the forum settings earlier, so I would guess that you need to clear your cache.

I've done both of those things.
Delete temporary files - Windows 7
Open Internet Options by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, and then click Internet Options.
Click the General tab, and then under Browsing history, click Delete.
Click Delete all, click Yes to confirm that you want to delete this information, and then click OK.
Once this is done, close your browser and open it again to try logging in to GRM
Have you rebooted the laptop? Also, can you log in to other sites you regularly visit on the laptop? Is GRM the only site giving you trouble?
OK, it sounds like it's time to bring in a staff member. I will e-mail David and see what we can do on our end. Sorry for the trouble Woody.
My pleasure. I have sent the e-mail to David Wallens. I don't know if he's still in the office, so it may be the morning before we get a reply.
it's been logging me out and not letting me in … about an hour later I got in just like normal … then again in the middle of posting something … out I went … I'm thinking that GRM is trying to tell me something
but all is good for now

How do I pronounce Porsche? ---> Correctly.
And I've actually spoken to Pete on the phone about the Europa but there is too much distance between us.
I'm out of the office today and tomorrow, but let me see what I can do to get things rolling. Thanks for the note, Ashleigh.
Datsun1500 wrote: On a serious note, reboot your router, sounds dumb, but it can get stuck in the cache there. Any anti-virus running?
I'm running eset nod 32. Every other forum I've tried is working fine.
What's involved in rebooting the router? Just in plug it and plug it back in, or is there more to it than that?
I am having the EXACT same problem on my MacBook. Reset the router, cleared all cookies and the cache, everything. No luck. Posting from my phone right now as that's the only thing that works.
Morning update:
Still not working after rebooting the router, modem, multiple cashe clearings and reboots. Windows 7.
No other forum is giving me trouble and it works fine from the iPhone.
This happened to me yesterday morning. I'm running Win7 64bit.
I ran CCleaner to clear out everything and all was good again.
A free version of CCleaner can be downloaded from piriform. Pay attention during the install so you don't accidentally agree to adding a toolbar to your browser.
I'm having the same issue that Woody had yesterday. Login, go back to previous page, hit CTRL + F5 (hard page refresh that ignores the cache), and it's still telling me to log in. Win7 x64, Firefox 29.0.1. I'm writing this on Win7 x64 and IE9 (which I never use), and I can login. on Firefox, it just loops and I can't successfully log in.
You'll need to log in to post.
