I was having the same issue with FF and Win 7. I went in and cleared out the cookies for grassroots and things are back to normal.

Rusted_Busted_Spit -

Thanks! Clearing out all GRM cookies worked well for me!

Yeah, I couldn't login either. Cleared out the cookies and all is OK now.

I'm back, thanks to help from ECM and Ed H. It was the Firefox cache.

Instructions from Ed's email:

Open Firefox and try this:

Yep. Thanks, Ed and EastCoastMojo, for righting the ship.

There's a news item regarding the fix, too:

On a related note, looks like it's time to increase server size. The site will down for a few hours while that happens. Once it's scheduled, we'll give you the heads-up.

Ed says it was FF folk that it affected … FWIW as a Safari user, I was booted out (in the middle of reading a thread) … that "fixed" itself after ~30min. then an hr or two later it hit again … once that "fixed" itself, I haven't had any problems

Interesting. It looked like pretty much everyone was having problems with the site on Wednesday when it started (I had quite a few errors initially on Chrome). But from what I saw, people using Firefox were the only ones with the recurring sign-in issue yesterday. If I am wrong, I can add instructions for other browsers to the news post. Thanks for the heads up!

thanks Ed… but like I said, it "seemed" to fix itself … I had talked to ECM and she said the same thing had happened to her … that being just dropped out, and then not being able to log on

15/20 min later it was ok …then it did it again … same result … 15/20min later it was ok … hasn't been a problem since then
