I've been hearing good things. With any luck, we'll get the chance to review one soon.

Personally, I've been eyeing the plug-in hybrid version for my family–even if we likely can't afford it.

Not in the market for one, but I found this pretty interesting, especially since it's Dave Coleman.

Thanks for posting the video.
Sounds like an interesting transmission (no torque converter).

Sure is a looker (I don't often say that about SUV's).

I'd probably wait for the CX70 which is the same thing, but will likely be slightly cheaper, slightly lighter, and 2 large rows instead of 3 rows.

We looked real hard at these when buying the wifes new car. Unfortunately, we couldnt wait until they became available, we had a pretty hard deadline. They sold me at turbo inline six, all I needed to read. Wife cared about the other stuff.

It's an all-new Mazda engine. There's a little on it in the video I posted. I haven't yet seen an in-depth engineering analysis, however.

Hard turn in the story:  Toyota contracts to Mazda for the 3.3 six for the midcycle GR86 upgrade, Supra sales plummet despite the car looking like a VW Bug with a Rolls-Royce nose

Maserati  or a Mazda. They look very much alike. I believe that there is another one that looks the same as the Mazda but could not find it

All crossovers and small SUVs are eerily similar almost like it's what most people want.  Some people just want theirs to be more exclusive.  I saw this in Dallas a lot.  We even have a running family joke about it.  The Mazda is probably 95% as nice and 90% more reliable and 99% more cost effective.  My wife loved her CX9 but some thief clearly wanted it more.  My mother in law has a CX5 and so do my parents.  Mazda makes great transportation..

But Miata is always the answer.

Well well well boyz n gerlz actually went and saw one(25 on the lot) of these. NOT the answer I was expecting. Exterior colors are quite good ....interiors look spacious.....and there you have it spacious, because the vehicle itself is 'puffed' up for lack of a better description. I think I was hoping for a more CX-50 looking ride......not any time for me soon. When time comes will start looking for a 2012-2105 CX9 AWD instead.
