IF it was that awesome he'd keep it. They don't all that engine the "shaker" because it is of a particular religious sect.

I'll bet it's nearly undriveable on a daily basis. That damn flexy chassis and suspension won't handle the weight well at all. The engine weights about 700lbs dry....

A duramax mustang did the Hot Rod drag week this year and it is awesome.

Drove over 900 miles just to get to the event....not to mention all the driving during. Here is a link to it. http://www.dieselpowermag.com/features/ford/0901dp_1994_ford_mustang_duramax/nitrous_express.html

Ohh If were showing off, check out my buddies 4bt swap into an xj. It's pretty cool.

I've known this guy since Freshman year in college. He taught me how to machine and weld.

When he bought the jeep it had a Th350 in it with a 350 with the old Accel fuel injection TBI kit on it. He's got a D44 front and a 9in rear out of a 78 ford F150. He swapped the front suspension to leaf springs to handle the weight and he believes it will give him better articulation off road. I told him he's lazy and just doesn't want to do a proper 4 link on a coil front end.

My friend has a 4BT swap in his 2wd 1990 Dodge Ramcharger, and I can't imagine that in a Mustang. His isn't too bad with liquid filled engine, and body mounts, but man it is noisy, and heavy. He had a 700R4 in it at one point, and now is in the process of putting an NV4500 in it. Sweet ride, and even sweeter engine, but no thanks in a Mustang.
