I never saw anything he was in but I've heard a couple of interviews with him and he seems like a good guy. I wish him well.

He was great to talk to, and very friendly. He very much wants to learn and get better, and his whole team is committed to improving every week. I'm really hoping for success for him this year.
From acting to racing is such a cool transition, I will have to keep an eye on him this season.

The 'alliance' between his team and a more accomplished team is an interesting note.

It is pretty common in NASCAR, as the manufacturers (Ford / Chevy / Toyota) manage the windtunnel & simulator data for most of their teams. As there are limits on allowable windtunnel and simulator time, the manufacturers give more time / data to their "tier 1 teams" (more accomplished teams), so some smaller teams will usually pay for alliances with the tier 1 teams.
