I'm trying to compile a list of things that we can do to our cars in the garage while we are stuck at home with nothing to do. And best if they are free, or at least nearly free. I plan on:
1) pulling fenders to clean out debris and prevent rust.
2) touch up paint
3) maybe learn to do paintless dent repair
4)drink a beer. And chase with whiskey.
5) detail the interior
6) flush the brakes
7) wash, clay bar, wax.
8) create a bracket to protect something in the engine bay.
9)???
Heat shield all the things.
Wash, detail, wax, etc.
Bleed the brakes.
Change all the fluids that you never do.
Change the air in the tires.
Fully detail. I have done 2 cars. 7 more to go. Our state will have curfew few more months so I have plenty of time
Don't forget about weight reduction! All it costs is a few sawzall blades!

Anything to be away from the wife
1. Finally figure out what broke
2. Install the large pule of new parts
Detail
Drive some of the old gas out
Polish random parts to a chrome finish. This eats up alot of time in a hurry

Drill holes in things that arent all that important structurally. Holes almost always makes things faster
You could do what my neighbor does and start the noisiest piece of crap you own and let it idle in the driveway for the afternoon and just randomly rev the everlovin' E36 M3 out of it.

Drive it, since gas is basically free now and the weather is starting to get nice and there's nobody else out driving. (Though the three other people on the road are all somehow directly in front of me doing 2/3 of the speed limit at all times)
I did just order a buffer though.
clean 30 years or grease, gunk, grime, and mud off the transmission and other stuff underneath. That's what I'm doing.

This was my plan, once it stops raining. It'll help me find new leaks, too.
Sit in your car and watch porn so your kids don't walk in on you
So far, it's been deferred maintenance on the DD. Once the weather breaks, it's deferred rust repair on the projects (they are both outside).
Paint it with whatever you've got laying around. Make an art car!
Fix all the stupid little things that annoy you but don't really affect the cars function. Examples:
Replace lightbulb for backlight of HVAC control knobs
Tighten random screws so that there are less random rattles while driving
Set dashboard clock to the right time
Re-assign radio station favorites settings presets to a more organized method
Properly redo that wire under the dash that you connected via wire nuts and electrical tape "temporarily" 2yrs ago
Going to push the project into the daylight for the first time in over a year and detail it. Can't have dirty garbage.
Then it's time to pull the interior in preparation of full racecar mode.

The Miata has a rattle between the seats and the top. You only hear it when on the gas at low rpm. I need another human that is small, flexible, and capable of wedging themselves back there to isolate it.
Vacuum it and wipe it down with Clorox wipes.
Grease stuff.
Door locks, window tracks, hinges, etc.
Bonus if you have a convertible.
Bolt on parts accumulated during winter months when it was too cold to wrench.
Fix all those annoying little NVH things that annoy you
Garage organization to make better use of your garage time. I've got a shelf to build so I can get my garage art Ducati motor on display.
