That looks and sounds great! Wonder how the weight compares to a stock XJs? Would have thought it would be easier and maybe better just swap the motor and trans into the Jag, unless the floors were rotten. Still cool though.
There's only one rationale I can come up with for putting the magnitude of time and effort required to achieve the level of fabrication and detail that went into creating this thoroughly confusing creation: The Camaro was his prized possession. The Jag was her prized possession... And all all he got in the divorce was the cars.
Gah dang thats nice. if I could get Paul's 4.8 + T56 setup I'd throw it in an XJS or XJ sedan with the quickness.

...Yellow letter all-seasons is the type of thing I'd expected from a 'labor of spite'.

IIRC those are stock Camaro wheels, they replaced the "salad shooter" directional ones on the 4th gen. Basically these painted gold
Drooling over here
What's up with the "harness bar?" Is that safe? Then again it's got 4 point belts, so probably not.
I dont really get it. I am all in favor of engine swaps but is this not like taking an XJS and swapping in a smallblock, six speed and straight axle? And would that not be easier and cheaper given the price of a used non running XJS? And what is the benefit of a straight axle over IRS? Seems to not be an improvement.

There are some pics in the auction of the rolling chassis. It's basically a Camaro wearing a Jaguar body kit.
That exhaust design looks...interesting.

I talked to a guy yesterday, listing all the cool cars he had built. His chevelle has a 3/4 inch cam in it !!! Said it all with conviction. Some of it even sounded right.
