I was watching The Peoples Court this afternoon and there was a guy on there suing the dealership where he had just bought a car. (Yeah, I know, nothing new there.) He had traded in a Dodge Caliber (off lease) for a new Mitsubishi Galant.

Did the judge smack in the back of his obviously tiny head with his gavel and ask WTF he was doing leasing any vehicle, let alone a Caliber or a Galant?
He was suing because the Mitsu dealer "promised" to make the last 3 lease payments and pay any excess mileage charges on the Caliber. The amount was nearly $1400. The GM for the dealership tried to tell the judge (gee, I love Judge Milian(?) that the only agreement they had was to wash the car....because it was a snowy day when he picked up the car. The GM lost because the "proof" he had that the Galant customer was "okay" with the Mitsu dealership NOT paying the payments/mileage charges....WASN'T signed by the customer. Salesman's goof?
