So, there's a sock filter in the tank pretty pump. A 30 micron screen on the return line fitting at the tank. Do I need another filter, or is this adequate? Efi conversion with in tank pump.

I'd put another one on there, most cars have a something around a 10 micron filter before the injectors. Since you don't have one in place, this is a great opportunity to go to a reusable filter.
I would put one in as well. Seen may a sock filters split or deteriorate to go without another filter. Once of prevention worth a pound of cure type thing.
I agree with above info. Are you using an in-tank pump or inline pump along the frame? We found that on 6.5 diesel engines we would get a lot more life out of the lift pumps by putting a filter before the pump, but your strainer is prolly good enough.
I used the typical GM unit in my race car with two of the all metal Earls AN adapters. Speedway sold me a "kit" with all three pieces.... Don't buy the kit buy the ends from a speedshop and buy filter at napa.
Dunno if your looking for a barb filter but a 1990 300zx twin turbo works a charm and good for 300-400hp, that's what I'm using on my hodgepodge fuel system. rockauto used to have a mislabled Volvo fuel filter that's even bigger for $1.40 I'll see if it's still there if you need it.
