Anyone have suggestions for a reasonably-priced oem-replacement fuel pump for my SC300 ChumpCar? Stock fuel system and engine.

I tried a Bosch and it tanked on me during an enduro. Deatschwerks? Walbro? Some oe-replacement brand? The plug, mount, and outlet are all pretty standard, so I think pumps for most OE fuel-injected applications would work.

Would love to find something in the $50 range that I can be somewhat confident will last for a few thousand miles of tough use.

Thoughts?

Denso is probably OE.

I've heard Bosch electrical parts in general are not good for anything. Only thing I get are wipers

A Precise one from RA is about $24, I'm sure it'll last long enough.

I was looking at that Precise pump yesterday. Looked like it could be a good way to go, for the cost. It's not hard/time-consuming to replace pumps on the SC300, so maybe I'll just be sure to have a spare on hand for races and give that a try.

Can you set up 2 pumps at the same time and have just a switch ?

Yes, it's allowed in the rules. It's just not high enough on the "To Do" list at the moment.

Ultimately, I'd like to have a system with a low lift pump to a surge tank and two high pressure pumps in the surge tank on separate circuits.
