2004 Trailblazer 4.2, all lights flicker about 1hz, volt gauge slowly oscillates between 14 and 15 volts. Battery connections and block grounds look good. Bad regulator in the alternator?

Or a bad cell in the battery.

Alternator in my 04 bravado was the culprit.

Rectifiers in the regulator seems the likely culprit.

Find an analog volt meter, start the engine with the lights off and measure voltage. If the needle blips at about 1 hz, alternator time.

I put my oscilloscope on it and can't see the 1hz flicker for some reason, or any bad diode ripple, just the slower oscillation of the voltage. I'm still thinking this is the alternator.
