I've shared this all over the internet now because I was impressed with how well it turned out.
Did a gender reveal earlier for our 2nd child.
Spent way too much money on some of those Highway Max colored smoke tires ($500/pair after shipping), but man they are awesome.
Hit the line lock and launched it off of the transbrake.
Slammed the 7600 limiter in 1st and 2nd and let off when I kissed the limiter one too many times in 3rd with 200 mph wheel speeds.
You can see in the first video just how quickly it goes from 1st to 2nd gear rev limiters (about half a second).
Smoke inhalation was a major problem, but that's to be expected when you murder a set of tires in just 7 seconds.
Setup is a junkyard 4.8 from a 2001 Sierra, nothing but cam/springs.
Quad 50mm china turbos
Built TH400 /w transbrake

Now now, all colors are Gender neutral. I'm just kidding. That is pretty cool man! Did you kill the tires all the way down, I'm guessing you could sell these tires to another guy that needs to do the same gender reveal LOL
I don't get gender reveal parties (there's already a party for people to give you stuff, why is there now another one?) or this sort of party in general, but I guess to each their own.
Congrats on the 2nd and the girl
(BTW, pink used to be the color for boys and girls were blue, white or yellow. Times change though)
When I first looked I was on my laptop with the screen really dim. I thought it was purple smoke.
Congrats on your hermaphrodite.

We didn't do one with our first kid. I told her they were stupid.
This time around she kept mentioning it. I said if we do it, we do it with a burnout, or we don't do it at all.
I'm kinda glad she chose the burnout. It was pretty awesome.
We didn't have a party for gifts and stuff. Basically just bought people some cheap food and had them come see me do car stuff.

It's something fun to do. People, in general, like doing fun things.
Taken from the meme thread :
I get just about everything. Live and let live. Just don't hurt anybody on purpose in the process!
Pregnancy is awesome, daughters are awesome, turbo LS's are awesome! Wives that'll participate in burnouts are awesome!
I hope you have a great life for yourself!

b) drive an underpowered rear wheel drive car (miata)
c) lead a very boring life lol.

In other news, puppies are terrible, steak is bad for you and sunrises over the mountains are stupid.

I did a gender reveal burnout with one of my turbo minivans and some colored powder in the exhaust but it was nowhere near this, lol.

Are gender burnouts kind of like smoke from the Vatican?
I have never needed an excuse to do a burnout.
Although I can tell you that burnouts with studded snow tires can get interesting really quick.
And now I have month python in my head commentating a gender burnout.
