RMR did for SEMA, then they put it behind the driver for another SEMA show (RM460 IIRC)

The only car I ever bought new was a 2005 Hyundai Accent hatchback (manual). The dealership ran my credit approved me for $199/mo payments, but when I came back to get the car and sign the paperwork they told me now it was $387/mo. I had no ride back and home was 200 miles away. So I was trapped at the dealership EIGHT HOURS while they tried to strong-arm me into signing at $387 (which I literally could not afford - I was a college student) whereas I tried to get them to honor the terms they'd verbally agreed to the day before.
We finally compromised on $239/mo and they'd fill the tank up with gas. They stiffed me on the gas.
Anyway how this relates to the thread topic is that the only other time I visited the dealership was a year or so later I had to have an emissions-related check engine light serviced. The service manager said something about, "Next time I see you, you'll be in a Genesis!"
Thinking back to my buying experience at the dealership, I gave him a look that could have curdled milk. Never had any interest in Genesis since then.

yes, so we group an automaker on a one time transaction from a shady dealer (of which there are stories aplenty of all makes) from 15 years ago. nice. I guess this gives creedence to my toyota disdain. The wifes 97 rav4 caught on fire and ruined my favorite sneakers once. So all toyotas suck.
On the heavy side and a bit light on power (compare with 2009 Cobalt SS - weight 3300-3400 vs 2800-3000 and power 210 bhp vs. 260 bhp (290 with the factory GMPP tune)

I see your point, but I never said anything negative about the cars. My point in telling the story was that bad dealerships can put people off from a brand regardless of the merits of the product itself.
