I have some custom made springs that go in the stock mounts. 450 F/ 600 R. If I didn't, I'd make some coilovers for the front, and adapt some race springs to the back. It's 4 wheel independent, and you want to get it low. You can drill a hole in the stock struts, drain the oil, and refill it with fork oil of your choice. I would then experiment with stock sway bars. It is possible to double up the stock bars on the back. The more I think about it, the more I think a Metro would absolutely DESTROY a Yugo.
I have no idea how fast a Yugo is, but will a mildly modified one run with an RSX? My son's 01 with junkyard TB, mild cam, and 2" exhaust is dead even with my other son's 02 RSX. I have no idea what kind of times either would run.
