This will come across as a bit of an ad, but really I'm passing along a great deal. Heck, I'll make basically no money if you take advantage of it so it's a bad idea for me to tell you.
How To Build a High Performance Mazda Miata - my most recent Miata performance book - is a Kindle Monthly Deal on Amazon. Now's your chance to pick it up for only $2.99 during November.
This is my personal favorite of the books I've written. It's not really a how-to in terms of "use wrench A to turn bolt B" (never mind the title), but instead it's all the information you need to know in order to spend your money wisely and make your car into what you want it to be. A lot of the information applies to any vehicle, but all three generations of Miata are addressed specifically. The physics of handling and how you can affect it, making the most of your braking system and why speed is more important than weight, turbocharging vs supercharging, how to mount harnesses - it's good stuff.
There's a free sample chapter if you want to check it out.
I expect a lot of people on the GRM forum know a lot of what's in this book. But you may not know all of it, and for $2.99 you don't need to learn much to make it worthwhile!
Kindle books can be read on Kindles (duh), iPhones, PCs, Macs, Androids, etc.

Thanks for the heads up Keith I just bought it. Now I need to go buy the NA I've been threatening to complement it.
This one if I can get the wife to agree to have it inspected and buy it while I'm overseas.

That thing looks really nice
humm, know what I am buying on Saturday for the Kindle
Thanks! No immediate plans to own another Miata, but as you say, I'm sure there's more than $3 worth of new-to-me info in there!
I will likely never own a miata but I would still like to read the book so SOLD! I really enjoyed your Locost book too!

Hmm. I don't have a good answer for that one.

You've got another customer Keith!
Bought!
I also picked up the paperback version along with your other books and a Haynes manual.
A NA/NB is likely to end up in my garage soon, so I might as well arm myself with knowledge.
Bummer, I bought that book a long time ago at full price (it was totally worth it).
Keith, you should write another new book and then put it on a similar sale so I can buy it.

Easy. Have him mail you his Kindle so you can Sharpie on it.

But that's like autographing a bookshelf. What if he gets a new Kindle? I think I need to deface the file itself somehow.
Send out a picture of your autograph?
