$1 asking price "I have a 1997 2.0T 900se Saab.
82k miles, Auto. Cars in good shape. Open to offers. Cash or Trades. Expect disrespectful responses for disrespectful offers."
Boy, am I looking forward to calling you!
I am sure he will not be disappointed.
Sellers first name is probably Colton.
Ah, good ole Stone Chevy........at least they gave us Cheap Trick!
It's Rockford. Plan on getting stabbed.
In reply to Appleseed:
I've been there twice, didn't get stabbed either time. Somehow I feel like I missed out.

What makes a disrespectful offer? With price being "$1", there is no way to gauge that.
I think the seller is being disrespectful. First off, the $1 is to get through the cheap price filters, so -1 for the seller. Also the "$1" means he has no idea what it's worth or not willing to admit it.
berkeley anybody who puts $1 as a price as far as I'm concerned.
Good ol' Rockford...The armpit of Illinois.

I'm very temped to text him an offer of $3. Then, I'll reply to his disrespectful response that my offer was not only very fair, it was three times his asking price!
This is my new favorite CL picture....
"I kno what I got!" Trade+boot only.

The dude has two garages. Obviously he is in a different league.

Next time head downtown......good chance of getting stabbed, and Uncle Nick's is there........ so you can dine on a delicious Gyro while being knifed. I"m pretty sure you have to be drunk to eat at Nick's though........ the laws are funny like that in Rockford.
"And what's your bid Trackmouse?" "I'll bid one dollar Bob."

This is why the savvy Craigslist browser runs a search with a minimum of $100-200.

I will offer three and a half times his asking price, tree fiddy.
Ugh. See my "minor rants" response from last week. I simply do not understand why a seller would not list an asking price. A good price to me is "0". Do not make me guess what you want me to pay for it. Do at least a half-assed job of looking up the market value of your vehicle.

Right. Because heaven forbid people be 'inconvenienced' to input their actual price of $35,000 when they can lazily just input $35 instead. I mean, I suppose hitting the '0' key three whole times is pretty difficult for some people...LOL

The ex-SWMBO lives there. Can confirm.

I was searching the other day and found two Merkur Xratties listed for $200. Turns out the $200 price was only for the partially stripped roller and not the complete package.

The last time I was in Rockford was well before they decided to take the tax cuts for all the low income people they took when Chicago closed cabrini green and the other projects. I've heard it's changed.
1000 innanets to the first person to call and ask about the work truck behind it.
It's a CL trifecta!
-Crappy photos
-No asking price
-Buttload of tags
His only fail is that the obligatory gas station picture was taken in daylight.
Hopefully he gets all the best of CL buyers, including hundreds of trade offers for broken four-wheelers or CD collections.
