Well this has turned into a rabbit hole... I bought a set of 15" black wheels for our Mustang SSP restoration online in Okeechobee Florida. And thought well it couldn't be that painful to ship them to Loganville Ga, right? Wrong. Greyhound no longer does freight. Post office wants a fortune..... Any thoughts?
Dang! Just missed me. I drove from Okeechobee to Atlanta last Friday. My one time of the year that I make that trip. Sorry I can't be of any help. Good luck!

My luck! But thank you. So I posted these on Uship and so far its the only thing worse than what I have already experienced. All quotes above what I paid for the wheels. One just came in at $1470. YEEEEEEEeeehaw.
UPS shouldn't be that expensive.
I get tires and wheels shipped fairly regularly. Wheels will need to be boxed.
See if you can get them to Gainesville to the Challenge. From there to ATL should be easy from a few participants.
try Pirateship , they have discounted shipping ,
Do you have the rims in 2 boxes of 2 or 4 boxes ?
I've heard people use FASTENAL to ship items. Worth making an inquiry at your local store.
I’ll second Pirate Ship. I’m totally guessing on things, but looks like shipping a 45-pound 18x18x18 box from Ormond to Atlanta would cost less than $40 via UPS Ground.
Pirateship.com if the GRM relay doesn't work out. UPS is a lot more reasonable cost through them and usually much cheaper than usps for larger boxes.
