I could pick it up end of May and take it over to Carlisle if you've got someone who could bring it back down. Just let me know, my plans are firm and I'll be able to get it there one way or another for sure.
Might even be able to wrangle an Opel-er relay to at least Atlanta as well.

Ahh, Import Carlisle might work! Let me check to see if we have an empty trailer hitch for the return leg. I think we do, although that might give Tim and excuse to buy something stupid—but at least it'll have to be small!

I haven't heard back from OldOpel....anybody else coming through Indy on the way to Carlisle? Or maybe coming back from Blytheville ARK for the Tour to the southeast?
Sorry Per, finally dug out a map and realized how far out of the war Indy is. Somehow my mental map had it closer to on the way from here to Akron, where we're stopping for the night. Thought I had an Opel guy lined up to get it to Akron for me, but he's still trying to decide between driving or towing his Opel, and it doesn't have a hitch.
If nothing else works out I could probably leave Wed night and just swing down during the day on Thurs and fetch it. Still trying to get my own car together for the event; it's supposed to get back from paint Wed and the new engine just got a new crank tonight.

When would it need to be in Akron? Maybe I could get it up there prior to then.

Per, If you still need I can grab it when I am up there in July and store it at the Swine Sty till hell freezes over.
Going to Akron on Thursday, then in to Carlisle on Fri morning. Could get there anytime before then, the folks there are very car friendly.
