The boss bought a 2016 'Vette Stingray a few months ago, after seeing myself and the co-worker I suckered into this car thing having fun for the last few years. Every time the subject of cars came up he talked about the Sunbeam Tiger he used to have, and he even contemplated buying another.
Now for the holidays we've decided this year we'd get him something related to the car. This task has fallen on myself and co-worker, and we were kicking around ideas. We're going to try to talk him into a track day next year, but both agree he doesn't like being told what to do very well, so it may not go well.
Neither of us are knowledgeable on 'Murican metal, so I thought I would seek higher guidance. What would you guys recommend? Budget around $100, it's white and if I remember it has at least one partial black stripe on the top somewhere. He already has a 1/18 diecast, so my first idea is out.

Go to Griot's Garage and get him a 100 dollar detailing kit?
A set of curb feelers from J.C. Whitney.
I think that it has been suggested before...

GM sells accessory center caps with Jake on them. Not sure on the price though. Also, they have a really good battery maintainer for $120-ish

Might be the winner. His wife will hate me though and she signs our paychecks.

FWIW national corvette museum has a selection of c7 corvette golf jackets and sweaters that are a little less "colorful" in the $65-$90 price range at their online store. Also hats and mugs in $10-15 range. Plus free Shipping on orders over $75....what a deal![wink wink](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.png)
Chrome taillight surrounds? Oh wait, it’s a C7, not a C5.

What's my prize? Do I get the 'Vette? ![cheeky cheeky](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/tongue_smile.png)

This would have been cool as heck on my Stingray...
As I understand it, brand new, the rear window doesn't open. At any kind of speed you get the helicopter in the back seat going on, someone invented a clip/tool/doodad that holds the rear window open a crack so air flows through the cockpit.

Googling 'C7 Corvette gift' turns up a bunch of stuff, and it's not all gag gifts either. ![smiley smiley](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
