I thought this might be helpful to some people. I plan on adding this to a DL1.
Sensor: GM# 25727086 SENSOR - YAW/LAT/LONG
There are many applications, but I found mine on a 2006 Cadillac STS in an online junkyard for $65. At an online GM dealer they quoted $158.
Electrical Connector: GM# 19151498 -also- AC Delco# PT2240 This also happens to be a very common MAF sensor connector so you many be able to find one in a junkyard and cut it out. I found it online Googling the Delco Part Number. Price ~$42
I was also able to dig around to get the pin-outs and enough info to generate channel equations. -disclaimer- I have not yet tested the equations, but generated them in Excel from the other data from the sensor drawing.
Pin A: Long Accel 1.2 V/g, 2.5 VDC nominal offset, range=-1.7 to 1.7 g, output voltage=0.5 to 4.5VDC, 25 Hz, equation: G = 0.85*(V) - 2.125
Pin B: +5 V
Pin C: Yaw Rate 27mV/deg/sec, 2.5 VDC nominal offset, range=-75 to 75 deg/sec, output voltage=0.5 to 4.5VDC, 25 Hz, equation: Yaw = 37.5*(V) - 93.75
Pin D: Ground
Pin E: Lat Accel 1.2 V/g, 2.5 VDC nominal offset, range=-1.7 to 1.7 g, output voltage=0.5 to 4.5VDC, 25 Hz, equation: G = 0.85*(V) - 2.125
Hopefully this helps a few people. I thought getting yaw rate for $110 was a pretty good deal. Depending on where you mount this in comparison with the data logger (with built in Lat/Long) you may be able to compare the two Lat/Long signals to help look at OS/US.
