Confirmed. They might be better than the last gen, but it's still like sitting in a pillbox.
Forward visibility isn't bad. It's just the rear that isn't great. Backup camera and side detection and such kinda crutch it. Still better than a '71-'73 Mustang with the horizontal rear window.

True story - My first car was a '72 Mustang Grande. I had a friend in the car with me, and we'd just picked up a 2nd friend. His "driveway" was the alley next to his house, so I was all the way at the back side of his house and decided for some reason to back down the alley rather than drive out the other side. The friend in the back seat was pretty much blocking 50% of the rear window opening, there was no passenger-side rear view mirror, and the driver's side was mostly useless, so I asked him if there was anything behind us. He turned around, said "all clear"...and about a second later there was a loud "thud" as I backed into a light pole.

The rear bumper had a perfect semicircular impression from the pole, but it unfortunately had also pushed into the rear valence and trunk lid, so I could no longer open it. The good news was the impact also broke off a ~1' square chunk of bondo and newspaper from behind the passenger side rear wheel, giving me enough access to get all my crap out of the trunk.
