This thing have an IAC valve?  They gum up and might prevent a start.

 

Be funny if you had two things wrong that canceled each other. EGR and IAC

I had a few minutes today to troubleshoot. There is zero fuel from either injector during cranking, despite having fuel pressure at the TB and some voltage/pulsing at the injectors. 

I’m seriously considering a carb swap.

Carb swap is like 99% of the work of an LS swap.  You know from what I hear on the internet.

If you touched a 9V to the injector briefly, would it click?

I’ve not tried that, but I have new 9v I can try it with.

To give this thread some closure & hopefully help someone else in the future, I receive a message & pic from the new owner yesterday. He found the driver’s side injector was shorted, causing that fuse to repeatedly blow, then digging further found a burnt diode on the ECM.
