Looking at buying a 95 suburban to tow with. From my experience the brakes have never been that great on the 90’s trucks. Pedal always feels soft even if the brakes have been bleed correctly. Adjusting the rear drums helps somewhat but the problem is still there. Maybe it’s just me but is there any solution to this? Google has been no help so far.

Not sure about the 95, but I just replaced the front pads and rotors on my 91 Suburban and the feel is just fine.

i've owned a bunch of these trucks and never had an issue. however i tend to keep good pads and rotors on them.
