Some of the best cars that I have ever owned. The 2x "vintage speedster's" were the very best of all worlds, comfortable, easy to maintain, really good build quality. Plus I made good money on resale. Biggest thing was it was my only car for ~8 months one year. Rain is terrible, but the top down late at night with the exhaust openned up makes you feel alive.

The CMC that I had was a kit built by someone at home not a factory car. Just utter crap in terms of quality of the build. But the body was in good shape and the interior was decent and after about 20 hours of work it turned out to be a really decent car. Bought at 6K put maybe 4K into it with the motor work and sold it for 14.5K, new owner still has it to my knowledge.

Had a intermeccanica for a few weeks that I took in on a trade that was the best of the bunch but it had a TON of money thrown at it maybe 30k. Widebody though and not my cup of tea so it went quickly.

The 550 deal fell through. We are just to far apart on price to make it work. Its not a bad car but its missing a lot of the little stuff that would add up for me to get it "right".

I am going out to look at another Mera this week. Terrible color, but manual and all the important bits are there. Only downside is it is a 87 not a 88 and not nearly as desirable. But I have a 355 repop interior that I can snag cheap and might be able to make a couple K on it. Might not want to take the risk though, sat on my last one for months before I sold it.
