I'm putting a Nissan Leaf motor into a classic Mini and I need someone to do the heavy lifting of getting the motor into the subframe. I'll also need axles made or modified.

Does anyone know of any quality talent (ideally near Hollywood or the Valley)?

My main concern is making sure the motor is optimally located within the subframe, and that it is mounted on rubber. It will mostly fit in the subframe, but parts will need to be cut and reinforced to make some space. I'm hoping to find someone who can locate the motor such that the axles are the same length and angle and are as centrally located to wheel center as practical, fab up brackets for mounts, and makes sure the axles fit and don't bang into anything throughout the suspension range.

Ideally, I'd have the car dropped off, they'd handle axle fabrication and assembly, and I'd pick up the car with the motor and axles installed in the subframe. If the axles add too much complexity, I suspect I can deal with those on my own, as long as they'll fit properly in the subframe once the Leaf motor is in.

I'm expecting to pay about a grand for axles and a maybe a couple grand for the subframe fab work.

If anyone has any cheapgood rubber motor mount suggestions, I'm all ears...I was just going to weld some ubiquitous Chevy stuff in, but I can't say I'm too familiar with the various styles of motor mount...

Unfortunately, EV West is booked for the next 4-5 years and said they didn't even have time for small projects. They charge six digits for full conversions.
