The Evolution 3 cover for my Rx7 has finally bitten the dust and is now being used by birds and squirrels to line their nests. It has been a great cover and provided many good years of service. The problem...where to find it's replacement? I originally got it used locally and now there are probably 3+ million web sites selling car covers with not so decent descriptions.
I'm looking for a model specific fitted cover with side mirror pockets out of a breathable material equal to or better than my Evolution 3 cover. Anyone here had any good experiences sourcing something like this?
Thanks

I prefer the non-fitted ones since they're a fraction of the cost, hold up just as well and if you use a bungee to secure it underneath won't rub the car at all. I've had one for my Cadillac and for our XR4 track car, they're fugyly yellowish but waterproof, breathable (no mildew or mold) through the humid summers of Atlanta. All in all, very pleased for $50 at Autozone, Advance, WalMart...
i always thought i could start a car cover company that made up car covers that looked like Nascar Cup Cars... those would sell! especially in the South...
We have used both Covercraft and California Car Covers, and the quality of both have been top-notch.
California Car Covers has worked with us in the past.
Covercraft is currently advertising in both GRM and CMS. They see the value in helping to keep us in business, hopefully you will give them a shot at earning your $$$.

If you do contact them, make sure you let them know you are a GRM/ CMS reader. Thanks!
I have a Covercraft cover for my Capri. It fits perfectly. They offer several types of materials depending on whether you are storing it inside or outside etc.
The Covercraft one I use is for indoor storage and is the Dustop material. I use it in the winter when I have the car stored inside my garage.
I've had a couple from California Car Cover and was very impressed with their quality and service.
I got one for my Miata from Empire Covers (empirecovers.com). Since the car is kept in a garage I just wanted something to keep the dust off of it so I got the basic, unfitted cover... under $30 with shipping. Really impressed with the cover.

I have a California Car Cover and love it. They can be spendy, but mine has lasted a long time and done a good job protecting my car from the elements...
I am going to throw another vote out there for covercraft. I call them all the time, and their employees are quite pleasant to work with. Great, durable product too.
