Won't go into details in case readers are still waiting to watch it but I thought it was a good competitive race, with leader changes and good results. Should be a good year.

I tried and ended falling asleep until the 20th lap. When I woke-up and saw who was leading, it was a dafuq moment - totally unexpected. It was an entertaining race and I'll watch the full replay.
Oh, I went to bed at 6:30 and got up at 10:30; today is gonna be a waste.
It was very exciting. How 'bout this year's Pirelli tires? Seems they have tweaked the degradation to new levels.
Yeah the tire degradation was a consern in testing:
I stayed up, fell asleep and missed the start, woke up at lap 12 then fell asleep until the very end. Was happy to see my favorite driver on the top of the podium. Proves you really can't predict what's going to happen.

Wouldn't want to get off line there!
Marinated pork tenderloin, foccacia bread, bbq drumsticks, potato salad, beer in a friends garage. I always enjoy the Aussie race.
I don't always enjoy the following acid reflux.
NBC Sports actually did OK... the split screen during commercial is a good idea but they need to lose the border and make the picture big enough to read the text. But, yeah, glad to see Kimi and Lotus win... anybody but Red Bull!
I wish I could have watched in on NBC Sports, or atleast a english speaking channel. I caught it on UNIMEX, at around 9AM this morning. I didn't care if it was in spanish and had weird commercials, I still got to watch part of the race before it came time to go to church.
Way to go Iceman!
NBC sports played the race at least twice again today, and is playing it a number of times during the week. I would find out when the replays are, so you would only have to listen to one person speak in another language (looking at you, Hobbes)

When you break it down, despite rightful complaints, NBC Sports did not do much worse than Speed, if worse at all.

the only replay I can find is at mid-night Mon night ... don't guess I'll get to see this one
won't get to see Malaysia either
In reply to wbjones:
I seem to recall it was rebroadcast at 1pm on Sunday?
It was a fluke for me staying up to watch it. I doubt I'll do that again... I'm still paying for it...

I love it when they do the European races. 8:00 AM US (EST) time for the start. Great way to start a Sunday morning and then they are usually over by 10:00 so you still have the whole day to do things.

yes it was, but I was at an a-x ... same for next Sun.. and no VCR/DVR
I don't think it was that great a race, after the first round of pit stops it setteled down into a bit of a procession.
I do like the new Ferrari, even if I still hate AnyonebutAlonso, it was good to see that Massa had the legs on him until the pit stratagy scuppered him. Nice to see the Silver arrows on the pace to an extent. I think they went for the RedBull stratagy of sacrificing top speed for downforce, but that killed them on the straights. Very disapointed in McLaren though.
Good points start to the season, happy for the Iceman, looking forward to next weekend.
I still didn't bother with the US coverage, I watched the UK coverage instead.
Was the qualifying ever shown?
When I set up the DVR, qualifying was never listed.
I got the same practice session twice, the streaming banner at the bottom said the 2nd practice session was due to rain delays
Qualifying was shown directly before the race. I think it was on at 12:30 AM. I fell asleep in the middle of Q2, and woke up during the pre-race show.
Yea, I had it all recorded. Qualifying went about an hour over the specified time and then they rescheduled due to rain.
The Q2 and Q3 quali happened the enxt day and was shown right before the race.
Definetly a weird one.
I am glad the iceman cometh! I would love to see Jenson do well this year and well as Hamilton.
Really, I am just tired of Vettel kicking the crap out of everyone.
Good Work Sutil!!!
