Love this car already. My wife and I are expecting our first child together so I upgraded her to something a little bigger then her 13 Spark.
This thing is a 44HP gain over the Spark...it flys in comparison. And the CVT doesnt actuallly suck to drive, much perkier then the 4spd auto in the Spark.
Such a good looking mirco-odyssey. If I had better means I'd grab one for myself!
Dont plan on doing much of anything...maybe take the Radium catch can I have on the Spark and throw it on the Fit....thats about it.
Like it!
The windshield looks flat enough to be a panoramic sunroof!

Cool, congrats!
I've not been near a new one(yet), but we love/d our '09 - it's on its way to Germany with our oldest daughter & her husband - so much so that I encouraged our younger daughter to pick up an '07. Both of them have ~190k on them and are still going strong.

She didn't want one of the skittle colored ones?
My gen one and gen two were amazing. Enjoy not working on it. They don’t break. Even maintenance is nil. The timing chain is a lifer. The CVT has no fill or drain or filter schedule. I never needed brake pads in over 100k. I basically changed tires and oil. Handles like a slow-kart. Enjoi.
The Fit is go.
However, your praise of the Fit over a Spark is somewhat hollow praise. The Spark seems like setting such a low bar to be better than.
We had an 07 with a manual and it was a complete hoot to drive. My only criticism was the way it developed a host of little annoying buzzes and rattles as it aged. I drove it for 4 years and then gave it to my son who drove it for another 2. Its time with us ended prematurely when he was t-boned in an intersection by a GM mid-size going 50. All airbags deployed and the impact was so severe it actually buckled the floor pan and roof about 6”. Him? Apart from a slightly bruised rib, not a scratch. The car did it’s job. A friend of ours has just passed 300k on his ‘07 5MT with nothing more than fluids and brake pads - original clutch is still amazing.
i hope you didn't get it from Hennessy Honda of Woodstock

We have a 2016 (according to cars.com they picked up 14hp between 2015 and 2016, almost getting to three digits) with a manual. Not a bad little car. Not ever going to be anything beyond basic transportation and doubt I'd want it to be another 14hp down or have the CVT. My only real gripe with the one we got is the headrests on the seats. It's also *just* small enough that it squeezes into the garage end to end with the Miata when absolutely needed since the end to end lengths are 1.5" shorter than wall to garage door length. So there's a bonus.
Further, our cost to own it after buying it new is currently down to $0.56/ mile. That's full new purchase price, extra wheels + snow tires, maintenance and insurance. And that was after paying extra to 1) get the 2016 instead of the 2015 they were trying to give away and 2) have them find us a manual in the 1LT trim level.
Congrats! I love all gens of the Fit. Great cars, very versatile, can literally fit all kinds of stuff in it and they can 1) AutoX 2) RallyX 3) Trackday with it and it'll never bat an eye. The Sport is a great package as well.

Sport package looks pretty sweet! Damn, now I want one
Thanks guys.
The Spark we bought new in 13. It has been absolutely great car...but once you add passengers it does get a little slow. They have good room for a micro car.
Here it is...pic is from the other day. Thats the steelie snow tire package. I also have a custom 2" 304ss cat-back with a Borla muffler that I built a few years ago that will be coming off when it goes away.
My wife had a 2007 Sport that we recently traded for a 2018 Sport. Everything we loved about the first one is that much better in the new car. I've been driving it off and on lately, as it was more convenient than my truck, and I almost don't want to give it back.

Nice upgrade. Congrats on car and child!
I like Sparks the most among their competitive set. I think they're cool looking inside and out, and they offered a few colors that i really like on them.
