It is a 2006 EX-L with all the trimmings less the navigation. So far, we like it....

If yours has the exposed A/C compressor behind the front bumper, some gutter guard and zip ties are good insurance. The OdyClub forum has a ton of good info on that mod, and just about anything else you could imagine.
Other than that, I'd recommend reading up in the transmission drain and fill threads, and any post started by "CNN" on OdyClub. He does a great job documenting DIY activities.
Good luck with yours, our '05 has served us well!
Wow, a thread I really have an interest in! (2 kids)
Oh, how the Hondas have grown over the years...but the colors have remained nearly the same.
Lol-those have been on my lust list for awhile. I am getting sooo old.

It's been a great pick up for us so far. Took a 250+ mile trip throughout the N. Georgia mountains in it yesterday and came home with still a half tank of gas. Pretty impressed I am.
Haha!!! Thanks, man. I'm rather partial to that one as well, but I can't discount the creature comforts of the overstuffed one, either.
love the side-by-side pic. do not ever crash the civic into an odyssey.
Well done, sir! Odyssey was runner-up to my MPV in choosing a minivan, and that was largely due to the MPV being 10 grand cheaper. That was pretty much the sweet spot for minivan styling. Boy is the Odyssey an ugly thing now.
Odyssey needs stripes to match the Civic
can you fit the civic inside the Oddy?
@AngryCorvair...lolol, I don't think I want to crash that thing into my 10 year old's bicycle.
@1988RedT2...Thanks, man. Last year, before my major cut in pay, we were a day away from ordering a 2010 Odyssey (latest body style). I loved it. I even talked my wife away from the Pilot into it and she ended up wanting it real bad. Since then, I have kind of shied away from the style and really enjoyed the styling of the third generation. It's wonderful for us.
@Junkyard_Dog...May have to give that shot, man, lolol. A little retro on a modern?
@mad_machine...Apparently, I can. The Odyssey's width, length and height measuring in at 77", 201" and 70", respectively, the Civic would easily fit with its measurements at 59", 147" and 52", also respectively. That said, it looks like if I remove the two rear sets of seats, I may be able to haul this around to events around the country in the comfy environs of the van, lolol. Wouldn't that open some eyes if I were to pull up and put some ramps off the rear bumper and have people thinking I'm fixing to pull out a riding mower or something I drive a full car out instead, lolol.
just for that.. you need to buy a salvage oddy and mod it to carry your civic to shows
Looking at a second gen, it seems their dimensions are damn near the same as the third gen......
Hmmmmmm............
That would be quite the entry, yes? If the wheel spacing between the rear wheels is wide enough, I may be able to fabricate some sort of ramp system similar to U-Haul's?
My parents' 2007 Odyssey just got totaled - it was the best car in their fleet! They're already looking for another from that generation.
