The last brake upgrade rendered the 13" fiat-roosevelt libres unusable. I looked for other 4X98 wheels and what I found were either just wrong for the car or way too much money for what they were. So I decided to take a chance on the "Wobble bolts" that are avaliable. That would open up my options to the myriad of 4x100 wheels that are out there.

I took the risk and ordered some 165/45/15 tires and mounted up the panasports that I have had on the shelf for a few years. To say that I am pleased with the look is an understatement.

So here it is. Plus three fitment on the fiat 850 sedan

Steering response is well....bright. I havent pushed it too hard yet but I can't discern a lack of grip compared to the 175 width 13's that were on there. Ride is unbeleivably not bad at all. Ever so slightly harsher on bumps but not enough to ever worry about.

Any rubbing? It doesn't look like the front wheels have room to turn...

At full lock they rub on the inside of the wheelwells. Not the outside like you would expect. I could probably space them out another 10mm without issue.

The PCD variation bolts sound sketchy but as soon as you get one in your hands all concern is gone. They are sturdy things that work great. It is a nice benefit that Fiats are hubcentric to the same 57.1mm/2.25" as BMW and VW cars.

The tires were cheap. $43 each from onlinetires.com. The only brand tire availiable in this size in the US is the Federal Formoza FD1. I really wanted to run 165/50/15's in the rear but they are on backorder for another 12 weeks. They are now being distributed by empi at $112 each so don't go through an aircooled parts supplier for them.

My first choice was actually 175/50/15 but there is only one brand in that as well but it is a really terrible nexen cp621

I bought the bolts from this guy on ebay, but they are avaliable lots of places.

Looks great.

It's hard to imagine that any of those tire sizes even exist.

Sweet!

I used a set of wobble bolts to mount some Mustang wheels to my RX-7. I must say, your Panasports are much nicer looking. Very cool!
