I bought a 56 Chev 2door sedan in 1977. I did some work on it, bought some stuff, parked it at the family farm in 1983 or so, used a chainsaw to retrieve it and move it to a friends farm when ours was sold in 1998 or so. This past weekend, I used a chainsaw to retrieve it again, and delivered it, a parts car and all the stuff I've stored forever to the new owner. 40 years from great hopes to realizing I don't have enough life left to finish all my junk.
I'm pretty sure he will treat it better than I ever did, plus I delivered it on his birthday.
Now, buy something done. No work needed, and live out the rest of your days driving that car how you would have With the '56.
I have a lifetime of projects already. 67 Camaro, 510 Datsun, 54 Dodge Coronet 2 door wagon, two Integra Chumpcars, a Neon IT racer and a Neon Ministock.
Plus, there are the complete ones- SR20 B13 Sentra, SRT4 powered RT Neon, and my 82 Z28...
EDIT: I just laughed a bit- the race cars are complete, but they are actually project cars for their whole career, aren't they?
glad there is so many people on here to understand the versatility of the humble neon :D
