Anybody know a good way to clean injectors yourself? Non performance application, appliance vehicle, rock auto lists the damn injector for $70+ we've already put more than we wanted to into this vehicle. It's time to fix it and get rid of it.... or does someone have a spare injector for a 3.0ltr chrysler/mitsu engine laying around they wanna off cheaply?

I think GM sells a top end cleaner that you connect to the fuel rail some how.

Is it made up of a 1 gallon gas can with 1/4 gallon of gas and a full bottle of injector cleaner in it, a F150 inline fuel pump, some fuel hose, a battery, and some jumper cables? Cause we've got one of those.
it helped, it burped impressive distance's too.

You mean the randomly shooting a burst of fuel from the disconnected fuel rail feed line even though the fuel pump relay was pulled? That's one of its "Bonus Features"

Uh, you can haz flamethrower?
Any chance that these Chrysler injectors are shared with Jeep? If so, I have some.
Hmm, any chance you need another guy that can bring beer? I need to get away from here for a while...
I've had good luck with this stuff - http://www.gumout.com/ourProducts/ReganeFSC.asp
Spare injector connector, 9v battery and spray can of cleaner, air compressor.
Open injector using battery spray cleaner from engine side to the rail side follow by bust of air. Do this several times.
Does this mean you made some progress on the van? Did it cure the misfire?
I have 6 #35 mitsu injectors. Since theya re from a turbo I think they may not work. They are however new!!
Hmmm might try the spray cleaner followed by air. Google results point to that as well. Guess I need to price Plenum gaskets.
Didn't fix the misfire but I did narrow it down to a cylinder, and you can feel it ticking while it's running. Hopefully I'm not just feeling the other injectors firing.
Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas does some wonderful things.
spend $2 for a big bottle at Wal Mart and dump it in the tank when there is less than 1/4 tank.

Those injectors are 19lb iirc and they're pretty common. The 3.3 vans also had that injector and those are a lot easier to snatch off the motor at the yard than the 3.0 ones are.
So you are certain at this point that the injector is getting the right signal and you dont have corrosion or broken wire issues?

Ill second this. It's the only FI cleaner I have used that you can TELL works by the seat of your pants.
Seafoam works too at double the price. at least you can use sea foam through several different orifices.
