Just an idea I was thinking about. Could there ever be such a thing?

I work in the TV video production field and I know several production companies......I know a great audio company......:-)

That would be a good idea. Good luck trying to get it on SPEED TV unless it's all NASCAR builds. I think if it was on a channel like the DIY Network, that could work.

I thought it would be awesome if somehow GRM could get Top Gear to show up to the GRM challenge.

This has been asked before and Marjorie has said they simply don't have the time. But I've been thinking that if I hosted and produced it then there ought to be time. I have many contacts in the business. And it wouldn't have to be based out of Fla.

We've dabbled, but the time and energy commitment is monstrous for the payoff. I think you'll slowly see "alternative media" creep into our repertoire, however. And by "alternative" I mean "not paper." At the end of the day we're a media company, not necessarily a magazine company. It just so happens we're pretty good at making magazines, so we've concentrated on that for the most part.

We did have a good idea for a GRM TV show, but instead of us doing stuff with cars, it was a group of attractive, young-looking cops who went undercover at a high school. I still say it could work.

I did a search, not a very good one apparently, but came up with a bunch of unrelated posts. I confess I didn't look at them all but I assumed it did come up previously. I have never seen an episode of TopGear except YouTube posts so I don't know what that is all about. Speed TV? I only see that when I'm in hotels traveling. I used to love watching Spike TV's powerblock and I have posted about that previously but I'm starting to get burned out by the reruns and their never ending tendency to refer to "engines" as "motors"... Arrggggg! Maybe GRM-TV could be sold to ESPN? They have car auction shows on occasionally, right? Come to think of it, given the amout of airtime the SpeedChannel and Spike need to fill (has the ultimate fighter craze died down yet?) maybe they could use another show in their line up????

I think it would be eminently suitable for a bit on "Wayne's World"... excellent

Write a letter to Clarkson and tell him he'll be able to talk about Americans being absolutely berkeleying crazy some more.

No hate mail, please..I love TG, and as a "librul", I actually agree with some of what Jeremy says..
