Thanks for the offer Adam, but in my defense we did get a lot of wiring dine on the Challenge car.

I think you had more fun
pullers are a different breed... they are mostly big time farmers that have way too much time on their hands and a pretty decent income, so they spend tons of money and time working on things that pull a trailer for 300 feet... the results of 120psi of boost on a built diesel tractor engine is sometimes pretty damn spectacular..

The old 2wd tractors with the 2 Merlin v12's is a welcome sight again.
Some are farmers but it looks like most of the guys at this level are professionals. Lots of engine and chassis builders; the fabrication skills on some of the stuff is amazing and some of them are downright scary.
I went to a tractor/truck pull in high school that was held indoors at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. Holy-hell that was load. When the turbine powered Corvette puller came out debris (and probably asbestos) would float down from the roof beams.
Still one of my favorite motorsports events ever attended.
looks fun. This is gorgeous

Even though it's only a mile from my house, I haven't gone to the pulls in years.
When I used to go, I never really watched the event, I would just wander thru the paddock areas appreciating some of the fabrication that goes into some of these things.
Last time I was there, a guy was running either 6 or 8 bridge-ported 12a's on his "tractor".
It was the most painful, brain-shatteringly beautiful noise I've ever heard!!!
I'm thinking that this is that truck last year.

The best part is wandering the pits; it is absolutely a party and a gathering all in one. The Miller booth was busy welding a full fuel tank and one of the quad engines tractors was firing the engines one at a time...fuel splooshing out the exhaust!
Lots of scenery also...

Yeah, I think Bowling Green still holds the world-record for most naked female boobs per capita over a given weekend.
I love the big time tractor pulls. One of the local county fairs here has the biggest tractor pull in Kentucky. All the big dogs show up and it's usually covered by ESPN. There's just something about having big boost, multiple engine machines, the smell of race fuels, beer and hot country bitches that makes it a great event.
We need more info on the multiple rotary tractor, STAT.
I've tried Goggling the rotary tractor, but it doesn't give me E36 M3. There's an Australian dude that runs twin 13b's on a Mini-Mod, I believe. That looks pretty cool, as well.

My dad used to take us every year. The turbines looked like they were going to set the Islanders banners on fire.

i don't go to any pulls, but every time i happen to be at a county fair when one is going on or see the rigs going down the road, the door of the rig pulling it down the highway always says "so and so farms" on it... i kinda know a few people that do it, too, and they are all successful farmers.
could be a MN thing...

That's local level..........NTPA is mostly for those with too much money.
There are a few locals here that pull in Indiana, and to be honest, most of them here aren't farmers, and the few that are seem to only have like 40ac so they can claim deductions on taxes when they blow their E36 M3 up.....which I haven't figured out how they can do that.
Maybe; farmers once, then their land got bought up for subdivisions and they are filthy rich now. It looks like a great way to burn up a lotta money in a short amount of time!
