I love the reinforcement chains to help along the tailgate cables. Wonder what the tailgate hinges are rated at?
Yep, the open hooks and dimestore chain will really help after the tailgate folds like a piece paper.
Honestly there really is a lot of misplaced effort going on there. Rather sad considering that amount of effort could have been put towards buying a slightly larger truck.
Don't get me wrong an S-10 pickup wouldn't be a good idea either. Even with industrial air brakes, the chassis just isn't built for that kind of abuse.
Sigh, some people....

Katrina berkeleyed up the coast of Utah didn't it!
man, and i went a bought an f350 crew cab dually for my 36' fifth wheel camper (both sold a few years ago..) i couldve saved a small fortune with that set up!
I would have been more tempted to build an axle on a swivel under the gooseneck and pull it like a huge wagon.

...nope... but i'm sure it saw a few "refuges"... :)
He needs to rig some weight on the front of the blazer ,maybe hook a fridge or a freezer to the front bumper .
