So what is everyone using? I have the trans out of the 924s and the inner CV are a bit dry and need to some added. Should I just go to the local NAPA and get what ever they have on the shelf?
I have been using grease that is for the bottom ends of outboard motors in the past with no problems.
What does the GRM brain trust recommend.
CV joint grease, it typically comes with decent quality boot kits. It's designed for that exact application.
The joints are fine as are the boots I just need to add more grease. My google fu has led me to the Red Line CV-2 Extreme Pressure Grease. I think the local NAPA stocks Red Line stuff so I Think I will give that a go.
