This one might even be good enough for magazine inclusion. Mostly because I want to be responsible for the word "nipple" appearing in GRM...
I was having a hard time reaching all of the grease nipples on the Jeep with the grease gun. I noticed that the outlet on the grease gun, into which the 8" straight pipe screwed, was a 1/8" NPT thread. I dug around my stash and found a 3' length of braided stainless line from a mechanical oil pressure gauge kit, and it too had 1/8" NPT. Remove the 8" of hard pipe from between the gun and the grease nipple fitting, and replace with 3' of braided stainless flex line, and voila - grease nipple fits near anywhere, and the gun can be pumped against the floor, for one-handed operation.

Nipple = zerk. Usually.
This morning, I tweaked my wife's zerks. She slapped me.
yeah I bought a gun with a flexi line already on it. and I'm cheap.
Well damn. I thought I was onto something. I guess I now need to work on another plan to get "nipple" into GRM.
Just FYI...
In reverse order the cheap grease gun flex hoses work well for mechanical oil gauge lines as well. It seems they are grease and oil certified ;)

I use a grease gun flex line as a breather hose on the rear axle of the dwarf car. 1/8 pipe fitting screws right in to the housing no more puking gear oil in the turns...

Dave, you should've added it to the Tech Tips section.
