I saw this on Autoblog, and it was quite enjoyable. Great explanations on the sanctioning body games. My favorite line: "Whereas the Corvettes wail like murder on PCP, the Cadillac sounds like the alarm that God will use as an early warning system for the Apocalypse."
Watch out for them at Miller this weekend. High speed course, should suit the Caddys nicely.
I love the way they sound. it is astonishing.

WTF is up with the wing? I know why (rhetorical question), but that's one ugly answer to the rule book...

Accordint to ze article, the only reason they have the over-the-top support is the the trunklid can be opened without removing the wing.

Nice article; thanks for the link.
And, put me in the camp that loves my LS's to "wail like murder on PCP".
Warning system for the apocalypse hahaha
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to waste hours on Youtube watching videos of said cars.

Please link the good ones!
"cuts horsepower from 556 in the street car to 460 in the race car."
So let me get this straight. The street car has almost 100hp more than the "race" car. I think the formula is a little screwed up.
That's with a restrictor and no supercharger...

Early CTS-V with Corvette motor, all motor. CTS-V with Northstar motor, supercharged.
Whereas the Corvettes wail like murder on PCP, the Cadillac sounds like the alarm that God will use as an early warning system for the Apocalypse.
Yeah, I just posted this as my face book status, with appropriate footnote.

The STS-V has the blown Northstar, not the CTS-V.
The new one is cool and all, But the old Caddillac, with Pilgrim and Angelelli at the wheel(s) made my love (Speed) World Challenge.
Id post a pic, but I can't really remember how to hotlink

As statement like that should require a sound bit file attached.

Love the new livery. It works well with what I think is an awkward line in the C-pillar.
And it reminds me of Mondrian, one of my favorites.
In reply to Toyman01:
That happens fairly often I think but the only other example I can think of at the moment is the Mclaren F1.
