I need help identifying these wheels.  They are coming with the '86 Gti that I just struck a deal on (pics on that to come.)  I THOUGHT that they were Enkei's, but they aren't marked as such.  I know I've seen them before, back in my teens (early 90's,) but I can't for the life of me find a pic of them online to help identify them!

specs are 14x6, offset is not marked, and they are 4x100mm bolt pattern.  Marked as "MADE IN JAPAN" cast into the back.  They are directional, as far as having left and right side wheels.

Here are pics:

I don't know what they are, other than super sick!

Cool score, and they should help pull air out from under the car ...

Thanks Robbie!

I'm thinking that I'll be getting them powdercoated gloss white, going on a bright red car, so it should look pretty good, I think!

There's a couple of groups on Facebook for obscure vintage Wheels. Having said that they almost look like a Dodge product wheel. Or in the early American Racing piece.

I thought Enkei had a five (ten?) spoke version of the EK 84 Aeronautic, but I can't find any reference to it.

They look thick enough to be OEM. Maybe from a Grand Am, Sunbird, or something equally E36 M3ty.

I thinking escort or escort gt.

Nope, that's not it...

I know I have seen these!

I'm sure that if you started thumbing through issues of GRM circa 1991-1993 you'd find them pretty quickly.

Not sure if they are an oem, as they are actually pretty lightweight, at least according to my "calibrated" hands...lol

They look like a copy of devil shadow formes to me.

I have them, but I’m going to bed. But Ford Escort sure feels like the right answer.

Similar, but not exactly.

The thing is, I KNOW that I've seen them, in white, back in teh day.  But I can't find any pics matching them...

They aren't the escort, it the section between the "spokes" were filled then they'd be like the 91-92 EGT wheels, but that's not them.

I was thinking DSM, Stealth, 3000GT VR4, or some other Mitsu/Chrysler but image search is striking out.

They look a lot like stock 1994 Camaro wheels:

Same, The Civic and prelude actually had some similar wheels in the '89 to '91 time frame but they're not them, same with the Mercury mystique. It's not the Camaros because the Camaros are 16 inch and 5 lug.

They do look familiar, and that style was really popular in the 90s. I can't say what they are for sure.

I remember now where I remember them from.  A local rallycrosser used to use them on his ZX2.

I'd really like to say they are early 90s Escort GT wheels.  In addition, the center cap is held on with one bolt, which screams Ford from that era.

All I kept thinking was early 90s pontiac. Checked grand ams but no luck (although similar).
