Couple weeks back stopped by the Corvette factory then on to the museum in Bowling Green, KY and I didn't expect to see this! It was in the museum in the race car section, all other cars had their history listed except this one.
How ironic is it that the one car in that museum with a giant fan on the bottom didn't get sucked into the sinkhole?
Cool! I remember reading a flashback bit about that car in the magazine and wondering what became of it.
WOW! Would you ever guess a Challenge car would have ever been accepted into an internationally renowned museum? That so cool.
Giant fan still in place - cool! I still remember the 20 foot high plume of dust shooting out of that.
For anyone who doesn't know what this car is: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/articles/plan-of-attack/
In reply to bravenrace:
It won the $2007 Challenge.
Built by a group of older P&G engineers (IIRC) who were all friends. Cool guys- great concept.
It never ran the drags (rained out), and only had 1 successful autocross pass But it was a good one.
So that car is in the museum just because it sucked?
Damn, I've driven plenty of sucky cars. Most of 'em got inducted into the Junk Yard.

Not ironic, it's the only one that stayed stuck to the ground!
We should write up a history card and get the next person going there to make a cardboard standee of it and put it on the car with a long grabber stick
