ditto
The problem with releasing a vector image is it makes it difficult for us to control the presentation. If people are cutting their own vinyl, they could easily take the logo and squeeze or stretch it to fit their particular application, changing the proportions.
We're not super paranoid about our branding, but we need to at least be conscious of how it is presented and take some control over that presentation. Sending the logo into the public domain with full permission to reproduce it is a bad way to manage your branding.

Understood, jg. That's why we don't have the FM logo available online - but we do make it available to some people when we know how it's going to be used. Besides, we give away our stickers with every order

WHAT?! I've ordered tons of things from FM (butterfly brace, stage 1.5 suspension kit, odds and ends) and never received any stickers!

Yeah, we have a notation on your record not to send any to you
That's not right. Drop me an email (keith@flyinmiata.com) with preferred colors and I'll get some on the way to you.
I agree on some other colors, and I think the prices batted around are fair. As an ex graphics-and-sign guy, I also understand your desire to control the brand.
May I make an alternate suggestion?
If you are pretty leniant in terms of color presentation, consider choosing an "authorized" shop to produce the stickers and give them whatever basic guidelines you have. Allow that retailer to handle all custom colors and applications at directly their discretionary cost whilst giving you a kickback on each sale.
Admittedly, you would want someone you trust and that understands what you're trying to do, but my guess is that you already have a connection on that.
my new Fm sticker sits exactly opposite of the Hard dog sticker on my M2 sport roll bar in silver it looks great
In reply to Keith:
i recently received my shirt and vinyl sticker order from grm and was very happy to see the free bumper stickers they sent with the order. although the vinyl stickers backordered, they arrived 2 days later, and came with more bumper stickers! now my racecar AND the other 5 cars in my fleet will all carry the grm logo!

I'm with Wally. I think GRM should pay me to NOT to put their logo on my crap. I will charge double to leave it off the LeMons car.

Me too.
I'll volunteer to do "authorized" GRM vinyl if they want a small run shop. I promise any actual profit generated will go to making weird cars even weirder.
Actually if there is serious interest I would even be happy to run small batches and send them to HQ GRM for distribution.
Of course if the desire is large bulk runs then please count me out, I just dont have the time :(
isn't a true Grassroots sticker made from duct tape? I like the ideas that have been presented and would like some small ones. (1"x3")
I can probably get "duct tape" look vinyl, great idea. We've used diamond plate vinyl on a few of our recent projects.
I've got one of these on the back of my truck...

Hey, I noticed that the die-cut stickers are in the store. Any chance you could also offer them in black (for those of us with light coloroed cars)?

Well hell, what's the problem then? This is a no-brainer for any vinyl shop worth their salt. If they can be made in white, its really just a matter of swapping in another color of material.
Tim, repeat after me, "yes we can.... yes we can..."
