Maybe you guys saw this on our Facebook page: The April issue is available online free for a limited time. All subscribers will have access to the digital version of the magazine from now on, but this one is free to everyone. Share this link with your friends and encourage them to subscribe.

We're not phasing out the print edition, and subscription prices aren't going up. This is a browser-based reader that's compatible with browsers on mobile devices, but dedicated apps are in the works. Now's a great time to subscribe.
How do us NASA guys get access to the electronic version? We are subscribers by proxy.
that is awesome! I love it!
will there be a price for online only?

Contact NASA for a list of your current member benefits.
As for a digital-only subscription option, we may explore that at some point in the future, but right now we're simply including the ePub with all paid subs. Think of it the way they do it at Japanese steakhouses: Whatever you order, you also get a little extra shrimp, too.

I nominate this for "Say What"
This is a nice development for me since I seem to get my paper mag 2-3 weeks after those on the left coast even. I'm very much looking forward to the i-device app too, since that's how I consume 75% of my internets these days.
Stupid firewall/ad blocker.
Then again, I shouldn't read the magazine here at work.
I'll try it at home.
Every time I turn the page, it makes a loud farting noise. Is that correct? Seems like a page-turn sound effect would be more appropriate.
Oh sorry, it was me. Nevermind.
Also looking forward to the app...
As for apps, are we talking using an existing magazine app? both my iTouch and my wife's iPad have a magazine app that you then subscribe to other magazines. Never tried it, but I'm tempted to try.
Here's my experience:
- Windows 7/Chrome/Core 2 Duo/4GB RAM: runs great
- Ubuntu 11.04/Chrome/Pentium IV/512 MB RAM: quite laggy
Overall:
- Looks great
- Page turning sound is annoying
- Seems to be resource intensive
Page 66 lower right hand awesome job ! Venom
I'm very happy to see that this is in addition to my paper copy!
Help spread the word.
Go to that other message board you frequent (Subaru, Ford, Unimog, whatever....) and post the link to our free e-Pub.
Werd.

Here's my experience: it's free and worth every penny!
Looks good on an itablet thing.
I think a magazine app will be a little better since it will fill the whole screen.
Good job!
The next few months you may see some changes in the digital version as we bring more stuff online, like a dedicated mobile device version, and App store access and single copy sales and subscriber-only access. Then again, you may not notice any differences on the front end. What we're finding is that—for us, anyway—there was no one-stop shopping solution for getting a digital version up and running. So as we figure out ways over each hurdle, we'll implement things.
One thing is for sure, though: If you like it and use it, tell the people who advertise in it. Not just as a service to us and them, but as a service to publishers and retailers everywhere who still aren't quite sure how this whole digital realm works. Direct feedback from customers is listened to quite seriously, and much appreciated.

You should be playing Arkham City anyway.
And this doesn't surprise me. Console browsers are just... weird. I'll forward it to our digital keepers, though.

In reply to JG Pasterjak:
No suprise here either, just an fyi.
I never get on the computer anymore. If it doesn't work with the ps3 I don't see it.
Awesome. Looking forward to the app
