Any chance someone is heading south anytime soon? Perfect is if you could pick up and deliver to the Challenge. Adult beverages, gas money, time money, are all on me.
Or, if you are coming after the mazda mini truck, drop it at Dustin's house and ill hold it for stampie a while
How soon? I'm busy the next few weeks but I'm a month I might be able to get from Albany to probably as far VA or NC to someone headed to the challenge.

Dan said he isn't in a big hurry. Let me know what I need to do on my end to help. Well guess I can't do much other than cheer on and send money. If it ends up being too big of a deal just let me know. I'm a big boy and can handle disappointment without crying too much.
I'm a little north of Albany as well, not sure when I'd be headed south, but could be convinced. I have a diesel Golf, so the fuel shouldn't be too bad.

I can get it stored in VA, but no transport from there. Or Raleigh NC, but we have people there!
Thing's been buried in a corner of my garage for quite a while, there's absolutely no hurry. I will try to round up the bits & bobs that go with it this weekend. I have two wheels also, will you need those? I only ask because they take up a lot of room only to be thrown out later.

I just need the engine/frame, title and any engine bits. I'd want anything else but I understand the space issues. Are the wheels wire or cast? I was looking at wheels last night and I think a 19 front 16 rear in wire wheels would be nice. Wally I sent you a PM but if anyone else is making a direct trip south to at least Charlotte we'll see what works.

Wally's going to hopefully picking this up sometime soonish. Anyone heading down to the Challenge from the NY area? How far north do we have people heading down?
I will be in Norwalk, CT on Friday 1 Oct. and can leave it there if that makes things easier for pickup.
Please lemme know by Thursday so I can load up. FWIW it's very near I-95.

No such luck, I'll be handing it off to someone. I got tickets to the USGP for Christmas but the way work is going that's in doubt too
