Electric Challenger
It's in Florida already! GRM needs to buy this abomination. It would allow you to do articles on fiberglass body repairs and modifications, electric motor upgrades, aluminum welding, and of course combining being green with racing! In the end, you would have a 2011 Electric Challenge vehicle with an aluminum spaceframe, lightweight body, and a high-HP electric motor with tons of torque! You only need enough juice for a few 60 second runs, that wouldn't weigh much.
the wooden dash makes it for me.

I love that front end; It looks like it was designed by Top Gear... Its at $225 right now, I'd sure buy it if I were closer, and had time, and didn't have enough projects... damn. must. not. buy.
Oh crap. The parents are driving home from Florida soon, in a full-sized van, with the tow package. Must resist.

Turds like that are what has given the public a sour taste for EVs, IMO. Ugly, slow, featureless, and not made to last...no trait that any genre likes to be labeled with. I like some oddball cars and oddball projects, but you'll never see one of those turdbuckets roll through my personal collection.

In 1976, enough CitiCars were produced to promote Sebring-Vanguard to the position of being the U.S. #6 auto manufacturer after GM, Ford, Chrysler, AMC, and Checker (Taxis...)
So it was no. 6 by default?
I never understood the need for the funky aerodynamics these cars had. With a top speed of 40mph.. how aerodynamic did they need to be?
If they had at least made them "cute" like say a mini or a fiat 500.. I bet they would have been more popular

I wanted to hear your input, since you're probably one of the only persons on this board who could make and accurate assesment

I would guess they were probably making more vehicles than Bricklin...
What about International-Harvester? Excluded from the list because they were all trucks?
I'd rather have a Scout than a Citicar.
Flat black with some randomly placed machine guns and we are in business!
Hmm...put a FWD drivetrain mid-ship....Lemons candidate...if only a theme came to mind..

In reply to BoxheadTim:
Yes they probably were, but IIRC Bricklins were Canadian built.
