Great article by A.J. Baime from the Wall Street Journal today about the girls challenge entry. They came to the house and did a photo shoot and interview about the $2000 Challenge and the car. Good press for the event! Link below, read and share!

To: The Material Girls,
Girls,
Exploit the hell out of this achievement! Bring this article or the link to the article with you to job interviews. You might think, "but I'm not looking for a job in race car building." Agreed. But, in your interview for any job you can stress:
- Tackling the task: you knew nothing of race car building but you were all smart enough to gather as much knowledge from all sources as possible. One of the keys in life is not to know the answer but rather to know how to go find the answer!
- Ability to thrive as and in a team: some people never achieve this skill.
- Project management: your whiteboard is a great example of eating the elephant.
- Project expansion: as demonstrated by this being your team's third attempt at this event and evolving the project to success
- Success: so many people are afraid of success and hamper themselves due to fear of success. Accentuate that you "David'ed" some significant "Goliaths" with this win! Not only is that not easy but for most people it is a self-intimidating thing to actually do.
- Budget: working and succeeding within a defined budget, a very limited budget, is a business/work skill lacking by so many!
I'm so proud of y'all!
Now that's GRM and a great story and media exposure!
Thanks for posting.
Awesome! The tractor video has viral potential. :-D
