Just snapped a few quick pictures when we were leaving. Several FRC see C5, about 4C sixes, another Cobra replica, lots of of Miatas, boxsters, another couple of old Z cars lots of different stuff. Truck was powered by a supercharged LS motor.
Mississippi SCCA is hosting a national Pro solo the second weekend in April. 250 entry limit was reached in less than 20 hours after registration open last week. Y'all come on over to Mississippi and have fun with us peckerwoods.
We joined SCCA with MS-SCCA region while there and it's a great (if small) group of crazies! I remember running nearly 2 minute courses at Grenada. We had to have 2 safety stewards to cover the whole course.

Not true... 34 spots still open for the Grenada Pro April 12-14. I'm driving in from Ft Worth to run S4 class.
the surface does look really nice, I heard lots of good stuff from the Louisiana guys in Red River region.
Hope to see you at the pro!

First event was in January 2002 with Delta Region. Second event was with MS-SCCA at the fairgrounds in Jackson. It was so cold we had the drivers meeting in the bathroom. Last event was April 2004 before moving to Savannah, GA. We participated in the Tri-State Challenge in 2002 and 2003 in a Ford Focus (Don & Laura Johnson). We got our SSS training from Sandy Brown in Memphis in the fall of 2002 and I did the region newsletter in 2003 and part of 2004 until we moved. I ran the Savannah Solo club from 2005-2014 and I'm in my 5th year as RE for the Buccaneer Region.

Mostly Jim and Skip were in charge. I think we had meetings at Festus' house and George would hang. Lots of others and we all had fun, but it's been a long time and I'm not great with names. Here's an example of the crowd around that time; http://www.msscca.org/files/results/2003/11.html

I forgot about jim bishop...wow...lot of familiar names. But I'm like you. Horrible with names.
Skip is kinda backing away. George also. Both of their wives are suffering with dementia/alzheimers sadly.
