Greg from The Race Place dropped these off yesterday. They're 1/24-scale BRM Porsches.

It's an "IROC" series where the track provides the cars, hence the Porsches. These are the same slot cars that we ran at the Mitty and Rolex. They're tough as nails. Plus you can slide them around. They look awesome, too.
Greg is hosting a race for these cars this weekend. If anyone near Daytona wants to enter, contact the track at 386-295-1371.
We need a 1/24th scale DSWs and JGs.
(I still think a Team Sahlens P car would have been quite funny ;) )
Are those old 1/24 tamiya tamtech bodies?
I've got a couple of those old tamtech 1/24 r/c cars in the attic...
That's what they remind me of...but now I'm guessing they're just some concourse quality slot car stuff...

Sharp! Me likey...
Hey, there's something to add to the forthcoming (ahem) sheets of die-cut GRM decals... a pair of itty bitty ones to use on RC cars!

The entire car comes from BRM as a DIY kit. You can learn more here: http://scaleracing.com/v-web/gallery/BRM-1-24-Scale-Slot-Car-Catalog
