E-Type
BMW E-9
This one may be pushing it. I've never seen one in person. Not sure if it is really even in my top 10. Nissan Silvia CSP311.
This one, just because I will own on someday. Had a Mk3 Sprite, but not a bugeye yet.

Note that a lot of nominated cars were not included. You must provide one clear picture of one car only, in stock form, with a description of what it is. Race cars are not allowed.

What makes the 900 aero so nice to look at? Not my cup o' tea, yet I posted some 80s angle-y goodness.
I'll take "no trucks" as long as the 80s Shelbys get to stay :p
I dunno on the SAAB, and I imagine it will fall off of the list before too long. I can think of dozens of better looking cars not yet nominated. (DB7, DB9, F360, F458, F550, F456, 240Z, SA RX-7, 944, 911, 930, 993, 71 Cuda, 67 Mustang, 65 Mustang, 70 Firebird, 67 Corvette, 68 Corvette, Evora, Gen 1 Viper, Gen 2 Viper, 05-06 GTO...)
I'll just nominate this. The Vector W8. Especially in black. When I was a kid, this was the kind of car we were supposed to be driving now, and yet here we are and everything on the market looks like a blob of melted butter painted "generic dirty silver #4". What the hell happened?
Say what you will about its actual prowess as a car, or about the company's business shenanigans, but goddamn you can't deny those looks. One of the few cars I would call truly stunning.
I like the 'get to 100 and then decide' thing but.. this is going to be a huge, messy thread without someone having mod powers to keep it clean and remove the staggering amount of duplicate hotlinks which will amass..
also i think it's javelin's thread and he should BASICALLY get the line-item veto on what goes in the list. And we will have the freedom to badger him over his choices.
Cars that make me do a double take on the road... ford gt is already in here.
The 90s japanese halo cars might date me a little (not a bad thing imo) but i still get excited when i see NSX's on the road. Flip-up lights only, and preferably with prettier wheels than stock.. Im not going to spend TOO much time on google image right now but here's a nice profile shot (with non-flipup lights, drrrr).
Also, the mkiv supra is aging incredibly well imo and still gets my attention whenever i see one that's not horribly modded. Again, not my favorite pic..
I like the FD a lot but lately im starting to think it's looking really dated, especially from certain angles. I think the NSX and Supra are aging better.
In no way does an AMC deserve to sit in slot #4. It may be one of the prettiest AMC's ever built but it still doesn't look even as good as the saab let alone a ford GT.
My nomination: De Tomaso Mangusta
Since it is already on the list...
Alternate nomination
Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA
1954 Studebaker Commander Starliner Coupe
Ferrari 250 GTO
Porsche 911 2.5 RS
Jaguar SS 100
Arguing about which DB...
my choice would be the DB4
Keep all that crappy new mercedes... this is the one
always loved the Mangusta....
Volvo 1800
a certain 1983 Corolla
