The court will gladly accept a more official source though. Link them if you find them (that would change anything in or out).

Adding racing vehicles and completely custom-built 1-offs totally dilutes the field to me though. There's no question that the top 25 at least would become just racing cars (GT-40, Cobra Daytona Coupe, 250GTO, 250LM, C-Type, D-Type, Scarab, 917, 962C, 787B, 911 GT1, 312PB, etc, etc, etc). If we do that, we might as well have a racers-only thread.
What I'm interested in doing is replacing Edmund's awful list of the 100 most beautiful street cars. I really don't think the requirements are that exclusive?

Nah, they still do not meet the required amount.
The RS 200...on the other hand.

Us? BTW, I agree with most of what you listed. But I don't think you'll ever find two people that agree 100% on something like this. But and Omni? Seriously?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ that Vette, yes but the 68 Vette above a Duesenberg? WTF, my 4 years old has better taste than that!

They said beauty, neither of mine will win a beauty contest, but if you want to run the Dragon and then go to the top of the Beauty spot.....my X3 says bring it!

Your welcome
Hell, there are alot I knocked off I would love to own, not for beauty's sake, but just because they are bad arse.
NSX, 996/7, Vector W8, GTO, they just aren't in the top of the beauty category.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have 75!
25 more nominations and we hit "drop off land".
Some notable exclusions: BMW Z8, Alfa Spyder, Cadillac CTS (Wagon! ), Plymouth Duster, Ford Falcon, 65 Chevy Impala, 70 Chevy Monte Carlo, Porsche 930, 288 GTO, Mazda Cosmo, 68 Pontiac GTO, 70 1/2 Camaro, 67/68 Camaro, 69 Camaro, 67/68 Firebird, 57 Chevy, 55 Chevy, 49 Mercury, 50 Ford, 56 TBird, and the Stratos HF (492 made!)...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The 74-89 911 (of ANY iteration) does not belong on any list of beautiful cars. It's a turd. It isn't even in the top 100 Porsches ever made.
I HATE impact bumpers.
That isn't to say I don't want one, but they are NOT pretty.
Also, I've nominated 288 GTO, and someone else nominated it before I did. Put it on the list already.
I'll nominate BMW M1.
If the 944 is on the list (another Porsche car that looks like garbage...), then you MUST include the 987 Cayman
and the glorious CGT!
Ok what blind man put the MGA at the bottom of that list?!?
But seriously '64 Spitfire now.
Also Ferrari 308.
Also the car listed as a DB4 is actually a DB4 Zagato. Not arguing placement because I think that is where that car needs to be but not the right name.
This will probably sink my W8 due to fan backlash, but I wanna downvote the E-type. I think it only (freaking always!) makes these lists because people think it's supposed to be there. But look at it - the front and back halves look like they were designed by two completely different people. The guy who did the front liked torpedoes and Freudian imagery, while the guy who did the back liked balloons and round things and ponies and probably took a lot of valium. The cockpit is so awkwardly bodged in that the doors don't fit on it properly, a lot of the lights and signals look like they were attached with glue as an afterthought, and somewhere along the line it grew a mutant 3rd windshield wiper. Not to mention the wheels are pushed in to the point where you'd think it belongs on a monorail. Yuck.
That being said, I'll be fair to Jaguar and cast my hearty support for the XJ220. Now there's one they got right!

Don't all Porsches look like garage? Not saying I don't want a 911 but they ain't lookers.
I would say the Germans have made the fewest good looking cars of any car making nation (save the French and maybe the Japanese). There is the 507, Z8 and ....

I don't agree that is an ugly car because every time I see one my heart stops a little and my pants get a little tighter but I am going to agree it isn't the best looking car of all time. Top 10 though.
In reply to Maroon92:
I agree with you, I think 911's are butt ugly. That said, the 993 is pretty and is in there somewhere. I fully don't expect any of the others to stay, except maybe the 65, but it'll be at the bottom. The 904 and 951 are holding strong. I have no idea how the 959 even got nominated...
