If you think the Batmobile Riv or the Monte Carlo are truly ugly, you've lived a sheltered life.
Better examples of ugly:
Notice that I did not say I wouldn't own or drive one of the aesthetically-challenged cars. Some have charms beyond the sheetmetal, and the appearance often keeps the prices down.
As a buddy of mine says on Saturday nights: "Go ugly early!"
How about every new Lincoln that is not a Navigator or Town Car?

Probably an unpopular view here (Sorry Javelin) but I’d nominate anything ever made by AMC with the exception of some Jeeps. Really, with the styling they had I’m amazed they survived as long as they did.
You, sir, are obviously a poor, disabled, blind, baboon and as such I will refrain from mocking you henceforth for your terrible, crippling diseases of the eyes, brains, and bollocks.
Fair enough, I expected as much, but my eye's have already been permanently damaged by looking at AMC products My bollocks on the other hand....well the water was cold honest!!!

That may be the greatest RV ever.
It looks like almost this whole side is a slide-out...
Paint it green and name it Kodos.

And the ugliest cars of its' era:
1977 AMC Matador Barcelona The only thing uglier than the outside was the Tijuana bordello interior.
Man and that is the "best looking" Matador. That doesn't even come close to the mind explodingly hideous Matador sedan
I can't believe that someone allowed that front end to leave the design paper and actually be formed into metal.
Was it one of those "Our competitors car is 3 inches longer than our matador, Fix it!" moments so they just added 6 inches of proboscis to the poor thing?
I know why it was there, but that is butt ugly.

I like the Matador. It looked great in NASCAR trim too. I do not like vinyl and Landau roofs.
It's the Bugeye Sprite of full size coupes
I wanted to build a Pro Touring one just to see if it can make people go, "that's actually cool!"
I'm also a huge fan of the PT Cruiser. Mine was perfectly reliable (not so much as a squeak or rattle or failed part in 5 years of hard use) and versatile, and I loved the shrunken '37 Ford sedan styling. It was also hugely versatile and practical. Apparently, over 150k people per year for nearly 10 years agreed with me, which is something the sellers of truly ugly cars wished they had.
Is there an echo in here?

Schwingggggg!!!!!
Someone should post the Donohue pics on the NASCAR thread. That would reignite the battle.
Nissan NX1600/2000
There were also a few years around 2000 when Pontiac was grafting the most ridiculous bumpers on the little Sunfire. They look like they were taken directly off the larger (also ugly) Grand Am. Pontiac also decided about the same time that side-strakes were a great idea and put them on nearly every vehicle in the lineup.
The Aztek is first but I have some I can put on the list.
68 Vette
Corvair
911
Chevette
Tempo
Granada
Diplomat
Vector W8
Yugo/80s Fiat 500

I have a bad joke, you guys are a few that will get it.
What happens when you drive a Camry into the Grand Canyon?
You get an Echo!
In reply to FlightService:
A Yugo really? I mean it isn't a pretty car by any means but it isn't the ugliest. Same with the Tempo. They are just plain.
And the '68 Vette is a cool looking car.

I also disagree with the 911...
However, I am going to submit this for the ugly car thread: the BMW 1 series
Agreed on the 1 series. It makes nice noises, I'm sure it drives well, and the roundel will impress boyracers and wealthy douchebag golfing buddies alike, but it's not pretty by any means, it's just... "shapes".
Ugly from the back:
It's like the designers got to the back of the car and went "hmm, what do we do now?"

Unfortunately I must disagree. They at least went for GO NASCAR! look.
This on the other hand...
Just round it off and call it good!
though the car overall is not as ugly as many here... the "wing" fitted to the G6 GXP made the tail of the car truly atrocious.

Would you prefer the 6er's trunk?
fwiw the Monte pic above is not stock. That car has an aftermarket Xenon brand trunk spoiler (much bigger than stock) and body kit.

That's ok, they're ugly stock too.
